The sun shone on the main pitch for the football tournaments, and over 2,000 visitors sampled the live entertainment and the community stalls in the McCall and Hendrie suites. More than fifty different organisations took part, and the buzz was constant all day, making this the liveliest and best-attended Community Day in the four years the event has been staged.
