The project will recruit and train a team of volunteers who will collect the stories and memories of the community who have lived around the stadium in the last 50 years. The work will lead to the creation of an exhibition in the ‘bantamspast museum’ based at the club, a resource pack for schools and a series of events to further publicise the work that has been carried out.

Range of duties
• recruit, manage and support a team of volunteers
• organise training of volunteers
• co-ordinate the delivery of the project, including organising events and focus groups
• publicity and promotion of the scheme
• provide ongoing support to the project steering team
• liaise with partners to deliver each part of project
• ensure project runs to time and targets are met
• be responsible, with the Carnegie Enterprise Centre Manager, for monitoring, evaluation and the finances of the project
The Candidate will need to provide evidence of
• strong project management skills
• experience of managing volunteers
• experience of multi-agency working
• event management skills
• project monitoring and evaluation skills
• a knowledge of the area local to Bradford City Football Club and its history
The successful applicant will be appointed on a self-employed basis over a 20 month period. We are able to offer £18k for this piece of work, delivered on average one day per week over the life of the project (approx £200 per day), although there will need to be more time spent on the project in its initial stages.
